company is in the process of changing the name of its operating entity, Evercom
Systems, Inc. to Securus Technologies, Inc. This name change is neither a merger nor a transfer of
assets among companies and will not affect the services that facilities or
friends and family members of inmates receive in any way. Rather, this initiative will
consolidate Securus’ branding under the Securus Technologies, Inc. name.
In December 2010, Securus completed filings for all
required document changes at both state and federal agencies and is awaiting
the approval from a small number of state regulatory commissions. The company has also mailed
