Having Your Video Visit


Important:

In order to schedule a Video Visitation session, you must have a Securus Video Visitation account. To create an account, click here.

Please log in to the system approximately ten to fifteen minutes before the session is scheduled to begin.

Step 1:
Log in to your Securus Video Visitation account by clicking on the "Schedule a Visitation" button.

Step 2:
Use the "Click here for facility login" link to open Securus Video Visitation.

Step 3:
For security reasons, you will be asked to enter your Username and Password again.

Step 4:
Make sure that the Securus Video Visitation system recognizes your webcam. If working properly, you will see a small pop-up window displaying the video from your webcam. Also, ensure your speakers or headphones are properly connected to your PC and are operational. No audio? Make sure your audio is not muted.

Step 5:
Select the "Appointments" icon.

Step 6:
You will have to wait for your incarnated loved one to sign in and initiate the session before your scheduled session can begin. Prior to the scheduled session time beginning, the Status of the visit will be "Scheduled." Once your scheduled visitation time begins, the Status of the visit will change to "Pending." Lastly, once your incarcerated loved one signs in to the visitation terminal at the jail, the Status will change to "Ready" and the telephone icon on your screen will turn green. Click on the green telephone to begin your video visitation.

Step 7:
A large screen will open where you will see your incarcerated loved one. Your video visitation will end either when the scheduled time expires or by manually selecting the red X icon.
